Almond milk is a beverage made from ground almonds, occasionally used as a substitute for dairy milk.
Unlike animal milk, almond milk contains neither cholesterol nor lactose. As it does not contain any animal products, it is suitable for vegans and vegetarians who abstain from dairy products. Commercial almond milk products often come in plain, vanilla, or chocolate flavors but are usually loaded with sugar and preservatives. Always best to make your own by grinding almonds with water in a blender. You can add cacao for chocolate flavor or strawberries as I have in this one.

Almond milk is slightly beige in colour and has a creamy texture and nutty taste.

Great Brigitte,
There are so many great raw dishes for the family that are not like rabbit food..

Terrific recipe and I drink it for sustainable energy before going to the gym, so much better and healthier than the sports drinks I used to use.
